Fresno CityFest was a free, family-friendly festival held on the grounds of the Save Mart Center on April 1-2, 2017, featuring world-renowned author and speaker Luis Palau, Grammy-award-winning artist Lecrae, and Grammy winners For King and Country.
This festival was a result of more than 277 churches and organizations in the Valley who have been uniting and partnering for over a year with the Luis Palau Association - an organizations that has shared the message of the Gospel with more than 1 billion people through events and media over the past 40 years. Luis Palau has personally spoken to more than 30 million people in 75 countries and is heard daily on over 3,300 radio stations worldwide.
The weekend featured well-known musical artists Matt Redman, Lincoln Brewster, Marisol Park, and Soulfire Revolution. Special guests included Rich Froning, the four-time “Fittest Man On Earth” Crossfit Games champion. Froning was featured during CityFest’s fitness competition in the Family Fun Zone. The zone also included basketball, soccer and football clinics, professional BMX and FMX demos, as well as jumping castles and many other activities for the smaller children. Andrew Palau, Luis Palau’s son, worldwide speaker and author, joined the long list of guests as a featured speaker as well.
In total, the entire campaign reached more than 45,000 people with a message of hope and Good News.
